President Donna Norkus called the emergency meeting to order at 3:05 p.m. Council Members present: Donna Norkus (President), Greg Brown (Vice President), and Matrona Malik. Council members Geof Benson and Brian O’Neil were absent. Also present: Clerk-Treasurer Ellen Hundt.

The emergency meeting was called to approve a change order for additional sand from City Sand. Without the authorization, work could not continue on Thursday as City Sand had reached its previously appropriated $20,000 limit.

It is estimated that an additional 1,200 cubic yards (60 truckloads) of sand are needed to complete the temporary repairs. The Council voted 3-0 to authorize spending up to an additional $5,440 (up to 1,800 additional cubic yards).

The plan is to ask community groups (ERG and ABSR) and residents to help plant native plants and grasses at the Hutchinson site in the spring.

In response to questions from residents, the Council indicated:

The meeting adjourned at 3:19 pm.
