ERG's Bill Schaudt and Hans Lagoni handed out well over 100 free plants during the Memorial Day morning coffee at Rebora Plaza.

This was the second year of our “Help Save the Monarch Butterfly” program which provides free milkweed plants to our residents. This year, we also provided blazing star.

There has been a 90% decline in the Monarch butterfly population in the past twenty years. This is mainly due to the loss of habitat, especially the lost of milkweed, which is where the butterflies lay their eggs. The good news is that we can rebuild that lost habitat in our own backyards.
